I read the second issue of Firefly, and I have the same good feelings of the first issue. Mal, Zoe and the rest are really back, with the same atmosphere of adventures.
Greg Pak is one of my present favorite writers, and he's developing the adventures in the same way Joss Whedon created this future universe.
I can feel the western part at the same time of the sci-fi escenario we know.
Mal and Zoe are declared war criminals. And there's a big bounty!
But they are trying to help a group of pilgrims and there are a lot of difficult decisions to take here.
I can smell something of the old magnificent seven here, but the best new is that they're really back.
The artwork of Dan McQuaid is not the best artwork of the world, but at least he fits and gets that minimum we expect.
There are some variant covers, but I think Diego Galindo is doing the best covers of them all.

He leído el segundo número de Firefly, y tengo las mismas buenas sensaciones del primer número. Mal, Zoe y los demás han vuelto de verdad, con la misma atmósfera de aventuras.
Greg Pak es uno de mis guionista favoritos actuales, y está desarrollando las aventuras del mismo modo que Joss Whedon creó este universo futuro.
Puedo notar la parte western a la vez que el escenario de ciencia ficción que ya conocemos.
A Mal y Zoe los declaran criminales de guerra por sus acciones durante el conflicto unos años atrás. ¡Y hay una gran recompensa por sus cabezas!
Pero ellos están intentando ayudar a un grupo de peregrinos y hay un montón de decisiones difíciles que tomar.
Puedo percibir algo de los siete magníficos en todo ello, pero lo mejor por encima de todo es que los chicos de la Firefly han regresado de verdad.

El dibujo de Dan McQuaid no es el mejor del mundo, pero al menos encaja y consigue ese mínimo de calidad que esperamos.
Hay diversas portadas alternativas, pero creo que las de Diego Galindo son sin lugar a duda las mejores en todo momento.

Captain Reynolds and his guys are back!
Yes, I know there were some Serenity comic-books before this new serie, but this time I really love the story of Greg Pak. This IS Firefly.
This first issue shows the real sense of humor, the western touch and it rescues the personality of the main characters.
The artist here is Dan McQuaid. Not a bad job and, maybe, the best chance to put his signature in an upper level.

Sí, ya sé que hubo varios cómics de Serenity antes de esta nueva serie, pero esta vez me encanta de verdad la historia de Greg Pak. Esto es Firefly DE VERDAD.
Este primer número muestra el verdadero sentido del humor, el toque western y rescata la personalidad de los personajes protagonistas.
El dibujante es Dan MCQuaid. No hace un mal trabajo y, quizá, sea su gran oportunidad de hacer que su firma gane varios enteros.
