Estrella Renegada, una aventura de ciencia ficción al estilo space western

Acabo de descubrir que no estoy solo en el universo.
Hacía tiempo que no leía una aventura espacial de este estilo, de las que me gusta escribir a mí (como mi próxima "Huida en el cinturón de asteroides" para Bolsilibros Yeray).
Tal como ya he declarado en ocasiones, la ciencia ficción actual es interesante y leo muy buenas historias como El problema de los 3 cuerpos o Aliens: Ripley, pero echo en falta verdaderas aventuras espaciales.
J.N.Chaney da en el clavo en su nota final del libro, cuando pone como ejemplos aquellos westerns espaciales como Cowboy Beboop o Trigun, y yo añado a la lista mi idolatrada Firefly (cuyas novelas y cómics posteriores me decepcionaron, la verdad).
Estrella Renegada son, que yo sepa por el momento, cuatro novelas de aventuras. Finalizar la primera equivale a dos cosas:
1- Conocerás a los personajes y empatizarás con ellos hasta el punto de querer acompañarlos en nuevas aventuras.
2- Lo más difícil cuando iniciamos una saga de este tipo. Tenemos una aventura que es punto de partida, pero debe resultar trepidante y entretenida, pura aventura.

Conseguidos esos dos puntos, me declaro renegado oficial y lector fiel de las próximas entregas.

I just discovered that I am not alone in the universe.
It has been a long time since I read a space adventure of this style, one of the ones I like to write (like my next "Escape in the Asteroid Belt" for Bolsilibros Yeray).
As I have already stated on occasions, current science fiction is interesting and I read very good stories like "The Three-Body Problem" or "Aliens: Ripley", but I miss real space adventures.
J.N. Chaney hits the nail on the head in his final note of the book, when he gives as examples those space westerns like Cowboy Beboop or Trigun, and I add to the list my idolized Firefly (whose later novels and comics disappointed me, to be honest).
"Renegade Star" are, as far as I know at the moment, four adventure novels. Finishing the first one is equivalent to two things:
1- You will meet the characters and empathize with them to the point of wanting to accompany them on new adventures.
2- The most difficult thing when we start a saga of this type. We have an adventure that is a starting point, but it must be exciting and entertaining, pure adventure.

With those two points achieved, I declare myself an official renegade and faithful reader of the next installments.
